unspoken was a site-specific durational performance instillation, created and performed by Bonnie as part of 'Voyeurism' for 107 Projects in October, 2016.

The piece offered an intensely personal catharsis of some of Bonnie's own unresolved past. Utilising the visually striking staircase off the foyer of 107 Projects, Bonnie ascended and descended, lighting a match on each stair. She had only the duration of the ignited extra-long match to express a sentiment previously unspoken; an apology never made, a profession of love never admitted or an insult held by a bitten tongue. The burning out of the match provided a sense of closure as the moment passed. Individually, audience members were invited to enter the enclosed room, ensuring each sentiment was heard by only one other person, while the larger audience was able to voyeuristically observe from behind the glass wall.

Speaking candidly and intimately of moments since passed created a warm atmosphere and intrinsic bond between performer and audience member.
